Effective from Wednesday 1 April 2026, Renovation Underwriting contract works policies now include the Lorega Claims Concierge service, giving policyholders access to expert claims support when they need it most.
If a property owner needs to claim on their contract works insurance policy, effective claims management is essential. It is often the case that end clients will have little or no expertise in dealing with claims or construction and that they are already time poor. That’s why we’ve embedded the Lorega Claims Concierge service into our contract works policies – ensuring that if the worst does happen, policyholders have a dedicated claims team working on their behalf to resolve the claim as quickly as possible.
The process of making a claim can be difficult, complex and time-consuming, but this new added benefit ensures a dedicated claims expert is involved to prepare and negotiate qualifying policy claims over £20,000, from first notification to final settlement. Lorega’s Chartered Loss Adjusters are experts in calculating, formulating and negotiating claims, act independently of the insurance company and work on your client’s behalf to help achieve the quickest and fairest settlement possible under the policy.
The Lorega Claims Concierge service is now automatically included within our Renovation 500, Renovation 950, Renovation Master, Renovation Ultra and Renovation Asset policies (excluding Renovation Unoccupied and Renovation Non-Neg Pro). This enhancement is a standard and permanent feature across these products, and the associated cost is incorporated into the overall policy premium. As such, it cannot be removed or excluded from individual policies. Because this is a policy feature for all, the cost is dramatically reduced over the standard rates.
